Toby Beard first met Carus Thompson at one of his sold out gigs at Freo’s most loved music bar, Mojos. This was about 17 years ago and to this day they have admired and respected each other’s work. They have played alongside each other all around Perth, Broome, festivals including Blues at Bridgetown Fest, WA Blues and Roots Fest, Melbourne and even a couple of shows in Switzerland. They have a very similar work ethic – play bloody good music, tour the world and make people feel moved or move their feet!
